We will be covering the Mobile World Congress extensively and Windows 8 tablets will be our main focus, but we will also cover important tech news. So, those who are also visiting the trade show from Barcelona and are wondering about the most important schedules and dates, here’s the official information that we are making easier to digest for you

Like I was saying in an earlier post, the Mobile World Congress 2014 will be held in the Fira Gran Via location, just like last year. As for the dates, it will be the usual February 24 -27, 2014 interval. Besides this, you need to be aware of the exhibition and hospitality hours, as well as the time when the event will officially open for visitors. The Mobile World Congress will actually start on February 24, but there are going to be companies, without a doubt, that will have press conferences on the 23, so that’s when it officially starts, but regular visitors won’t be allowed.

EXHIBITION AREAS

In the Exhibition areas, the following halls are included – 5, 6, 7, 8.1. And here is the schedule for these areas at MWC 2014:

  • Monday, 24 February – 09:00 – 19:00
  • Tuesday, 25 February – 09:00 – 19:00
  • Wednesday, 26 February – 09:00 – 19:00
  • Thursday, 27 February – 09:00 – 16:00

CONGRESS SQUARE

  • Monday, 24 February     08:00 – 19:00
  • Tuesday, 25 February     08:00 – 19:00
  • Wednesday, 26 February     08:00 – 19:00
  • Thursday, 27 February     08:00 – 16:00

HOSPITALITY AREAS

The hospitality areas include the following halls – 1, 2,3 and daily meeting rooms in Hall 8.1. And there’s the schedule

  • Monday, 24 February – 07:30 – 22:00
  • Tuesday, 25 February – 07:30 – 22:00
  • Wednesday, 26 February – 07:30 – 22:00
  • Thursday, 27 February – 07:30 – 16:00
