Kalimba is a popular 2D puzzle-platform game for Xbox One, and for quite a long time Windows users have wondered when will they be able to play it on their devices, as well. The wait is finally over as the game will be here before the month’s end.

Microsoft Studios and PressPlay games have announced that Kalimba willreceive a free DLC pack. The new content will released for free on April 22nd and will be available until May 6th, so you have plenty of time to download it on your Xbox One.

But the even better news is that the game is going to be available on PCs running Windows, as well. While the game won’t be available as a separate purchase made available only for Windows, you will be able to to buy it on Steam from April 22nd.

Thus, you will be able to get two new modes and two packs of DLC completely for free for a price of $9.99. Here’s what Press Play says about the new modes:

The ‘Dark Void’ pack will bring 10 new single player levels along with a new game mechanic and the ‘Co-optimistic’ DLC pack will add 10 levels to the separate co-op campaign. After the 6th May, the packs willl be priced at $3.99 alone, or $5.99 as a bundle on all platforms. Llama Mode is a new, local multiplayer speed run mode in which up to six players can take turns competing for the highest score. Puma Mode allows players to race asynchronously against the ghosts of their friends or Hoebear (AI) for leaderboard dominance on any of 30 specially designed levels.
