Outlook has been Microsoft’s default web client for many years now, and with the appearance of the Office 365 suite, it’s inclusion into the mobile market was iminent.

Of course, the app is under continuous development, with new features being released periodically.

Nowadays they are working with an increased number of tools and being able to use them with ease, even from a phone, is quite crucial and a great selling point.

Reply to messages from the notifications tab

Alessandro Paluzzi announced via a Twitter post that Outlook is testing new functionality that will definitely be welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm by its users.

Considering that Outlook is the first choice for many enterprises is no wonder that there is pressure on creating the best experience for the user.

The new feature that is being tested for Outlook mobile is designed to allow its users to reply directly from the notification Reply option.

For the situations where an email requires nothing more than just a few words, this feature would be a game-changer and a great addition.

Right now, when trying to reply to an Outlook notification the user is automatically redirected to the full Outlook Mobile app.

As noted already, is not know for sure if this feature will actually be available but for many users, it will definitely be welcomed.
